FULL ITINERARY: 7 LAKES AUSANGATE CUSCO

Day of Visit (Cusco - Pacchanta - 7 Lakes - Pacchanta - Cusco)

We will   pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then bus ride for 3 hours until the  the community of Pacchanta. Along the way, we will appreciate the high Andean landscapes, including its flora and fauna. In Pacchanta, we will have breakfast and a short break for our guide to provide more information about our adventure.After breakfast, we will prepare ourselves to start the hike to the Seven Lakes of Ausangate. The route is approximately 7.5km long and will take around 5 hours on foot. During the Ausangate Full Day tour, we will visit the 7 Lakes of Ausangate: Azulqocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo, Puqacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, and Patacocha. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to admire stunning mountains such as Ausangate (6,834 meters above sea level), Mariposa (5,842 meters above sea level), Jampa (5,500 meters above sea level), Pucapunta (5,740 meters above sea level), Caracol (5,625 meters above sea level), and Tinke (5,300 meters above sea level).

During the journey, we will see native birds of the area, also alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas, and, if we're lucky, the Andean condor. After completing the circuit, we will return to enjoy a comforting lunch in the Pacchanta community. We will then take a rest in the medicinal hot springs of the area, where you can relax and recharge your energy after this incredible experience in the Andes.
